Dual Maintenance
During the transition period, you will need to maintain both your legacy system and the new database. This phase is known as Dual Maintenance. I can assist with all or part of this process, depending on your needs. Here are your options:
- Spreadsheet of Changes (Preferred Method): You can maintain a spreadsheet of changes made in the legacy system. I’ll take these updates and input them into your new database, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer. This option also allows your team to become more familiar with the new system without overburdening them.
- Audit Report Import: If preferred, I can log into your legacy system to pull an audit report, then manually input the necessary changes into the new system, keeping both databases synchronized.
